Terrible January 6, 2009 L. Beck Run from this product. Look at all these bad reviews. I will just add another one. Very, very disappointing. The wheel in the center was off center making the machine not work at all. I am taking it back immediately and will not replace it with the same brand. I am going with another brand altogether.
retro cotton candy machine from santa January 3, 2009 Rodney Parrish (tucson az) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Im not sure if I was a good girl or not after recieving this gift from Santa for Christmas. I agree with other reviews that it does spray sugar all over anything within 5 feet... We will use it outside next time. Once the sugar started spinning, the fun began. My children ages 4 and 5 loved it!! Although it does not make too much cotton candy, we added another tablespoon of sugar and it went much quicker the second time around as the element was already heated. Clean up of the machine was easy, however my kitchen took longer...I will use it again with my kids and their friends as a special treal.
Does not work September 23, 2008 Jody C. Mcfarland 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Such a Bumnmer! I love cotton candy and my husband bought me this cotton candy maker for our anniversary and although we try and try we just cannot get it to work. I have it all cleaned up and ready to be returned, just waiting to find the time.
cotton candy maker August 8, 2008 Jerry Dean (utah) 0 out of 11 found this review helpful
the machine is cuter than any other I've seen under $50.00. However, the time it took to get here was no picnic. It took me nearly 2 months to receive it., when I called and complained., it was shipped overnight. I didn't like that... the whole summer went by without the use of it.
Dont buy it! August 5, 2008 S. Fairbanks (Milwaukee) 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
I'm totaly disapointed with this machine. It throws the unmelted sugar all over the kitchen, then the half melted sugar shoots out and sticks to the bowl. When it finaly gets hot enough to make cotton candy, there isn't much sugar left to make the cotton candy. If you add more sugar at this point, the shooting/spraying/throwing process starts all over! Also, make sure that you hold on to the machine while it is running. If you dont, the vibration is so bad that the machine will "walk" itself right off the table or counter.
